Project Main Details

Microsoft Exchange Video Series
This is a series of 5-6 short videos (90 seconds each) aimed at an internal audience with limited business to business use. The tone should be informative, friendly, positive, with a dash of light-hearted, quirky humor (though not played for laughs). Feel free to offer a few takes with adjustments if you want to try a few different tones.

We will most likely need to record the scripts in two groupings, videos 1-3, and videos 4-5(6). The first session we will want to record as soon as we have our voice talent confirmed.

Script Details

***custom demo required***
Script 1 sample:

Paul is responsible for his company’s email archiving system. They used to archive email using journaling, which stores messages in a special external mailbox.

When Paul joined the company, journaling was pretty much the only choice. But it had problems. The process of getting messages into the external mailbox can alter them, and even open them up to intentional tampering. That made Paul a bit nervous.

During litigation, Paul would have had to reconcile his journaled archive with his Exchange data—no easy matter if you’re talking about millions of messages.

Also, journaling only captures email and meeting requests. Other calendar items don’t get archived; nor do tasks and contacts. All of which can be important for discovery requests.

For all those reasons, Paul replaced journaling with in-place archiving. It’s built into Exchange—no third-party software or separate archives are required.

Messages are preserved exactly as they were when the user last sent, received, or edited them, including metadata.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
