Michael Moore impersonation
This is a parody of the Michael Moore investigative reporting style. It's for an e-card animation. It's should capture Michael Moore's smart-aleky approach. He should remain like-able. This is not a Michael Moore bashing caricature, but a parody of his style.
No fixed length. animation will end up being aprox. 60 seconds. But the length is flexible.
Please note the line breaks on the script. The order of some of these lines may be switched in the final edit.

Script Details

Full script added for audition:

MM (VOICE OVER): For your birthday, I went out to discover the dirty little secrets of the birthday cake industry.

MM (SPEAKING TO BAKER): So you’re telling me that I pay 24.95 for a cake and I’m expected to pay for the candles separately?

I noticed that none of these cakes have pink or blue frosting? Why is that?

Who makes your cakes? Do you have, like, some massive factory with immigrant cake bakers from the Dominican Republic?

Is that real frosting or sorbic gum sucrose?

Did you know that the word “birthday” actually comes from the Indo European “bhers dhegh,” meaning “to bare pastries”?

MM (VOICE OVER): Suddenly I was overcome with the power of these cakes. They seemed to put me into some sort of trance.

I was lucky to have gotten out of there.

But they haven’t seen the last of me.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
