Project Main Details

Medical Emergency Preparation Training Narration
Our client's project consists of 30 E-Learning modules centered on emergency preparation training for medical professionals. We're looking for a narrator who is at ease with medical terminology and who also has enthusiasm for medical material. There is quite a hefty amount of narration text, and a lively, professional read would bring the material to life.

Please send us an audition using the short script we've provided. It's easier for our client to get a solid sense of your voice if they can hear their own material.

Also, please keep in mind that turn-around for recording will need to be very quick (only three small 3-day windows per every 150 minutes for a project that is approximately 479 minutes in total), as this project is on a tight deadline with a great deal of material to have recorded.

Script Details

There are many clues to help you recognize a contaminated individual. First, and most obvious, would be if you were told by the patient, someone they arrived with, or EMS that they were contaminated. However, many times patients may not even be aware that they are contaminated or that it’s important to make you aware that they are.

Your senses will probably offer the best clues. Contaminants often have odors. Contamination may be visible on clothing or the patient may be complaining of conditions such as breathing difficulties, skin irritation or burning eyes. Anytime you see more than two patients in a short period of time complaining of the same symptoms, your first thought should be a potential hazardous materials event.

You may have information from the media or emergency responders that a release has occurred in the community. You should be on the lookout for patients presenting with specific signs and symptoms from the contamination described.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
