This video is designed to walk you through the simple steps you need for successful ****** portable sleep monitor hook-up and recording.

The ****** portable sleep monitor kit includes the following components: One ****** device, One nasal cannula, Two RIP belts - one chest and one abdominal, One Bluetooth pulse oximeter, and one hook-up quick guide.

(VISUAL NOTES: As each component is mentioned, it will be called out in a bulleted list next to the kit.)

When you first unzip the case, you’ll notice the ****** portable sleep monitor’s compact size. This design is customized to provide you with unrestricted, maximal comfort during your night’s sleep.
All the items needed to perform your sleep study are included in the carrying case and can be quickly assembled after watching this video. Follow along with the step-by-step guide included in your case.
Your healthcare provider may already have preassembled your device for an even faster hook-up, but you will still want to follow the same simple steps shown in this video. The NOX-T3 portable sleep monitor should always be worn over your sleeping clothes, whether you’re wearing a T-shirt or pajamas.

To begin recording, first take the recording device and use both clips to attach the NOX-T3 portable sleep monitor to your shirt or pajama top. Attach the device at your chest level, so it’s in the center of your chest at the same height as your armpits. A short wire connection for a second respiratory belt should hang down and reach the middle of your abdomen.

The two white belts are respiratory effort belts, also called RIP belts. Belts may be pre-attached to one side of the device. These will be used to measure your breathing. To attach, simply wrap the unsecured end of the belt around your body and snap the other end in place. Perform this step with both belts.

If the belts are not pre-attached, take a belt, snap it onto the back side of the device, wrap it around your torso and snap it to the other end in place.
Take the remaining belt, snap one end onto the piece at your abdomen, wrap it around your abdomen and snap the other end in place.
It’s that simple. From here, your NOX-T3 portable sleep monitor hook- up is almost done. The remaining step is for you to attach the finger probe used to measure your heart rate and oxygen saturation throughout the study.
To attach the probe, first place the watch-like mechanism on the wrist of your non-dominant hand and secure it in place using the VelcroTM straps. Adjust the strap to make sure you have a comfortable fit. Be sure it does not fit so tightly that it digs into your skin, or so loosely that it flops around. Wear it like you would a watch.
Next, attach the finger probe into the side slot. Finally, place the probe over the fingertip of your index finger. Make sure the tip of your finger does not protrude through the end of the probe and one of the squares is on top of your finger. A good way to verify the probe is in the correct position is to press down on the square and verify the probe over your fingernail.
If your device was not first configured to start automatically, then you will need to press and hold the middle button for three seconds to turn on the device.
Congratulations! You have now set yourself up with the NOX-T3 portable sleep monitor and are ready for testing. The device is battery powered, and your healthcare provider should have already ensured fresh batteries are in place. They most likely set your unit to automatically start and stop recording for you. If they have not set the ****** device to start automatically, you need only to press the button in the middle of the recording device for three seconds to begin. From here, there is nothing else for you to do but lie back, relax and sleep.
Now good night, and sweet dreams!
(Please say the word “********** “ 5 different times 5 different ways. It will be the button to the piece)
