Project Main Details
Delivery/Voice quality similar to Martha Stewart or Rachel Ray. - Soundalike is ideal, but otherwise just looking to capture similar tone, feel.
Clients spec: "as close to Martha's voice as possible. At the beginning of the video, we actually see her face on a TV monitor. It could also sound like Rachel Ray instead of Martha"
Final script to be available Weds. Need to select talent by Tues. afternoon at latest.
Additional Direction for chosen talent will be provided with final script.
Talent would need to record/send finished narration as .aiff/wav or mp3.
Phone patch is a plus in the event client feels need to direct, but not essential.
I've provided some copy for audition use but feel free to submit anything else you feel is an appropriate audition/demo for the character style and job description... ala, including any "Martha-isms" or other "isms" that inspire you.

(Things you might hear Martha say -(no need to read all of this )
"You only need one crust for our fruit pie with crumb topping...after we fil the pie shell with fresh blueberries flavored with lemon nuice.. we top it with a blanket of sweet crumb topping...it adds a hint of spice...and a whole lot of crunch....chances are, you probably already have the ingredients for a crumb topping in your kitchen.
We're going to start with 1-1/2 cups of flour..3/4 cup of lite brown sugar. (pouring ingredients as she speaks)....1, 2... and thats that....ok, a third of a cup of sugar....quarter-teaspoon of salt...and a quarter teaspoon of Cinnamon. Now just give this a little bit of a whisk....breaking up those, brown sugar lumps...before we add the butter...its 1-1/2 sticks of cold cold cold butter..and just, flake that in, and then just start coating that butter with the flour mixture...with your thumbs and your index fingers, you want to squeeze that...and thats what actually causes those crumbs to form.
Now we're making one Blueberry pie, but this streusel topping is enough for two.
I always find it convenient to make twice amount of a recipe...especially if it stores really well in the freezer. You can see that it holds together really well...now i have a freezer bag here and, I'm going to just put about half in there...and this will last about three months in the freezer.
