The iron hand of the knight Götz von Berlichingen is an epoch-making masterpiece of medieval sheet metal processing. The artistic aspect of this hand is that each phalanx of each finger is movable. Of course Götz wasn´t able to play the piano with this hand but with the help of his left hand he could bring the fingers in the right position to clasp, for example, a goblet of wine.
