Narration ******************

1) Our home - Earth.

2) Handling her responsibly is top priority - for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.

3) But we need energy to live. Ideally, green energy - wind power and energy from the sun.

4) Wind energy and photovoltaic energy are not only good for us and our earth, they are also an important economic factor. They are future-oriented, employ people and mean growth.

5) Let's take a look at Germany and China.

6) Both countries are major exporters. Both countries also import.

7) In Germany, photovoltaic energy is an important economic factor. As a center of technology, you can also find a lot of know-how about wind energy here. And we all know the best quality cars and machines are built in Germany.

8) On the other hand, in China, wind energy is an important economic factor. Conversely, China has a lot of knowledge about the construction of photovoltaic systems. Here, semiconductors and solar cells are manufactured with extreme precision.

9) So, both countries are highly competent in their respective fields. A lot of experience and knowledge is on hand. So why should there not be any exchange between them?

10) Now, there are several factors that influence the competition.

11) For example, politics - they determine conditions for the market and research.

12) Or the overall market dynamics – How do supply and demand change suddenly?

13) Finally, both countries have different skills. It is not easy to bring them together without some kind of effort.

14) So how can a win-win situation be created? Ideally, China would buy technology from Germany. The profit would continue to be invested in research in Germany. In addition, Germany would learn from China how its own technology could be developed.

15) Since the year 2005, exactly that has happened.

16) But a government or a company cannot possibly consider all the factors that this complex subject brings with it. Politics, economics, supply, demand, competence, and so on, pose endless questions with no answers?

17) This is where the ************************************************************** for short, can help.

18) The *** advises governments and businesses. The *** is the ultimate instrument of policy advice. And the ISI pools expertise.

19) The system is very easy. Several expert teams working on different themes, such as wind and photovoltaic energy in Germany and China.

20) These teams of experts ask themselves:

21) What are the strengths and weaknesses in regards to wind and photovoltaic energy in these two countries?

22) What is the situation with the suppliers of these technologies?

23) How do supply and demand change in both countries?

24) Finally, the question always arises, what about the political environment?

25) The individual expert teams of the *** do not work alone. There is a steady exchange among them. In the end, the goal should be to answer questions, the development of solutions and advice for government and industry.

26) You see - Germany and China can learn a lot from each other. Both countries can develop together and benefit from each other.

27) The ******************************************************** helps to develop the right conditions for it.
