Make My Customers Feel Smart
ZDLTK15209340570X
This request for proposal is for the first [1] of a series of short instructional videos that will be presented online to our small group of users.

The primary purpose of each video is to help the user to complete a task in an effortless fashion. Our goal is to make the user feel (BE) empowered.

The length of each video will be approximately 90 seconds. In addition to the script, the voice over artist will be given online access to a raw cut of the video which was narrated by someone who understands how to complete the task but doesn't have a "quality professional" voice. Still, the timing and intonation required should be obvious in the rough cut.

Again, this video is the first of a series. So it is important that we work with an individual who understands that up-front and is able to commit to a series of videos over the period of the next several months. Over time, the voice on the video will be a source of guidance and comfort to our customers, and therefore we believe it is critical that the voice artist is the same for each of the videos. Please do not bid if you cannot follow through with rest of the videos in the series or if you do not have the integrity required to keep the price consistent for the next several months.

Request additional information if necessary.

Script Details

No
Script provided by the seeker:

[video shows a dramatic exciting video clip on screen]

VO: So we're going to make an upload a digital video.
[video shows cursor closing the video viewer and exposes the video upload page]

VO: The first thing we need to do is to upload the images, audio, or video clips we want to use in our video. We'll just call all those things media bits and let the computer figure out what to do with each kind.

VO: Here's how we do that...
[video shows cursor pointing to a file and pressing the upload button]

VO: Next, we need to put the media bits in order.
[video shows mouse cursor moving to the AB area]

Here's how we do that...

[video shows cursor moving the icons for each file into an order that makes sense for the video]

(small talk as appropriate along the lines of)

VO: notice that the visual media bits are on this row and the sound media bits on this row. See... the computer handled all that for us. [confirmation of previous statement about this in the tone] All we have to do is to move either kind in to whatever order makes sense for our video

[video shows cursor moving the icons for each file into an order that makes sense for the video]

VO: Next we can see a draft of the video by pressing the draft button.

Here's how we do that...

(small talk if appropriate along the lines of ")
VO: it takes a few seconds for the video to be made... here it is
[video shows the cursor pressing the draft button; video shows the progress bar; video shows the produced video]

VO: We can make whatever changes we want by going over the previous steps, for instance, I think the picture of Johnny should be shown before the picture of Jill because Johnny is older...
[video shows the cursor moving media bits around]

VO: Then we just press the draft button again:
[video shows the cursor pressing the draft button; video shows the progress bar; video shows the produced video]

VO: Ahh... that's a LOT better. ... We can do this as many times as we want until we get it "just right"

VO: Once we are happy with the draft, all we have to do is to press the publish button and our video gets put into our video bin so everyone we invite can see it.

[video shows the cursor pressing the publish button; video shows a browse sequence; video shows uploaded video icon; video shows cursor pressing the Invite button; video shows the cursor clicking Aunt Mary; video goes split screen; video shows Aunt Mary enjoying the video]

That's all there is to it. You did great! And, remember, I am just a mouse click away if you want to go over any part of this again.
