VO: How do you sell a car to people who don't like car dealerships?
This was the challenge we faced when SEAT [pronounced say-ott] asked us to launch the new Mii by Mango [pronounced Me by Mango].
Our research showed that the target audience of young, successful women disliked the dealership experience and rarely spent time on car websites
We had to make the Mii by Mango [pronounced Me by Mango] relevant to them.
Beginning with a targeted editorial campaign in women's magazines, we introduced the car as the ultimate fashion accessory...
...with 2 very different sides: Black and Nude.
This drove them to the Mii by Mango [pronounced Me by Mango] hub - an interactive car page, designed to recreate the experience of a high street fashion retailer.
The fluid parallax structure and mirrored video cells enabled us to blend fashion cues, with subtle information about the car for a richer, more involving experience......making it a purchase decision based on style and lifestyle fit.
The result was a campaign that the audience fully embraced, enabling us to hit our 100 pre-orders sales target, before the car arrived in the country.
Most important of all, it proved to a demanding car buying audience...
...that SEAT [pronounced say-ott] is a brand that understands their desires…
And has the car to match them.
