Hello, and thank you for joining us for this presentation, entitled “Men’s Health: The Relationship Between Disease, Diabetes, and Low Testosterone.”

Men with diabetes are more likely to have low testosterone, or Low T, in comparison to other men. Low T results in a condition known as hypogonadism, which can be identified with signs or symptoms such as low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, depression, decreased bone mineral density, and fatigue—all of which can have a significant impact on a man with diabetes.

In this webcast, we will provide you with an overview of the relationship between men’s health, diabetes, and low testosterone and explore the development and relationship of male hypogonadism to diabetes. We will also discuss signs, symptoms, and treatment options to help you identify patients at risk for developing hypogonadism. You will also enhance your knowledge of treatment options and goals for testosterone replacement therapies and what role they place in this often undiagnosed disease.

This webcast is presented by Donna Rice, MBA, BSN, CDE, who is the President of the Southern Sector Health Initiative, an Affiliate of Baylor Health Care System in Dallas, Texas.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
