Please send auditions for the following project:

Non-Union
$500.00 Buyout per talent/per script.
Record Date TBD, possibly this week.
Local radio station.

Here are the specs directly from the writer:

"Cheer" guy is a bit younger. little sarcastic. that guy who's always ten rows behind you yelling funny stuff during the game. he needs a voice that can be heard through a crowd. not so much booming, but has the pitch that can get people to follow his cheer. real. believable. white. late 20s, early 30s.

"Kids" guy is a dad, family man. likable. likes to talk. likes to show people pictures of his kids. lots of pride in his kids and his team. mid to late 30s. simple. believable. white. likable.

"Basement" guy is ever-so-slightly dorky. but still kinda cool about it. like the guy who goes all out for the tail-gate. you're a little worried about him, but then again you really love that tailgate. this basement is his "thing" and he's proud of it and his team. mid to late 40s. little heavy. believable. white. likable.

We may still need to record tomorrow (Wednesday).

Thank you for your time and efforts.

SCRIPT FOR PRICING REFERENCE

“Basement”
:60 Radio

SFX: (Drum intro to music)

GUY: How do I carry the flag? I’ll show you.

SFX: (Door opens and footsteps down stairs)

GUY: This is my basement. Some people say I went a little “overboard” - but, you know, this is Columbus. Gotta support the team. Made this bar out of hockey sticks. Got every ticket from last season hanging on the wall over there. Seventy-one-inch flat-screen over there with surround sound. Carpet looks like center ice. Life-size Rich Nash bobble-head over there. This is my autographed puck from Coach Hitchcock.

SFX: (Extremely loud goal horn)

GUY: Uh…that’s my new doorbell. Gotta go.

SFX: (CBJ music blossoms beyond drums to full score)

VO: (:20 tag)

“Cheer”
:60 Radio

SFX: (Drum intro to music)

GUY: How do I carry the flag? I’m the guy who gets the “Let’s Go Jackets” cheer going when the team needs it the most. And that’s a pretty big deal, you know. It’s all about timing. “Let’s Go Jackets” – that’s a third period Power Play cheer. I remember last year some poor guy tried to get a “Here We Go Jackets” cheer going in the second period during a Shelly fight. That was just ugly. But when you get right man…eighteen thousand people yelling a cheer you started…it doesn’t get much better than that.

“Kids”
:60 Radio

SFX: (Drum intro to music)

GUY: How do I carry the flag? Here, let me get my wallet out, I’ll show you. Okay, see this picture? It’s my oldest son Nash. Good kid. And then here are the twins Sergei and Vyborny. That’s Sergei and that’s Vyborny. People get them mixed up all the time. Oh, and my wife’s pregnant. We’re having a girl. Pretty cool, huh? Having a tough time with a name, though. I suggested Foote, but…well my wife didn’t go for that. She shot down Duvie, Klesla and Modin, too. But I think we’ve got it down to two. It’s either gonna be Jody or Shelly. What do you think? Maybe we hyphen it and make it one name. I don’t know. I’m just throwing out ideas.
