Letter read
The script is a letter from a 30's-ish male father to his two girls. Normal conversational read - like they are hearing it in his voice. The timbre of the voice should be mid 30s. This will be used only partly in a book trailer, but I need the full read. The entire letter is below, but for the audition, feel free to voice just the first third or so.

This needs to be done quickly and a limited budget ($50), but you will be paid via paypal immediately upon receipt of the final audio file- quick job, fast pay.

Dear Juliet and Evangeline,

If you girls get this letter, then that means I’ve gone on ahead for good. Know that I didn’t want to leave you—I just had to do my duty for this country.

I have a few words to say about what I want you both to do with your time out there on the ranch. Help your grandparents as much as possible, but have fun too. Watch Captain Kangaroo and Gunsmoke—you can learn a lot about being civilized from them. When you get sad, try and count doodlebugs, or go looking in the backyard for marbles. I know I must have lost at least one blue-eyed beauty when I played there as a kid. No telling what others you might find. Most of all, don’t you girls fight. You’re like oil and water, but I love you both best.

I know you must be missing your mother. I don’t know what to tell you about her being gone. It’s just her nature, I guess, but she has broken all our hearts. For your own sakes, forgive her and move on. You’ve always got to forgive people before you can get over the hurt yourselves. Remember that.

When I get to heaven, I’ll try to build us a country house so we can be together as a family. I’ll make us a huge porch swing and be waiting for you with a great big hug when it’s your time to join me. Don’t try to get there early. I’ll wait. There’s plenty of time, later.

Most important of all—remember that I love you, always.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
