Script Details
Everyday, BP provides energy solutions to approximately 13 million customers in more than 100 countries.
To help meet America’s ever growing need for energy, BP recently invested nearly one billion dollars to build four of the safest, most environmentally friendly oil tankers to ever grace the waters from Alaska to Southern California.
BP’s focus on safety, technology and the environment helped drive the ship’s innovative design.
In August of 2006, the Alaskan Legend, the last ship of the new fleet departed San Diego, California to begin serving America’s energy needs. The departure of the Legend marked a new era for corporate responsibility and innovation while setting the benchmark for safety and environmental protection.
Body:
The Yellow part is the water ballast tank; the double hull. Inside that is the grey part, which is the cargo tanks. In fact, there’s several cargo tanks across the beam of this ship.
Closing VO:
The collaboration between BP & The Alaska Tanker Company sets the standard for the highest levels of corporate and social responsibility. It is just another step in the right direction towards environmental sustainability. Budget USD$ 250 - 499
