"Voice123 Team Note: The voice seeker has been adviced that the budget may be a little low for the project. Please do not answer if you consider this budget to be too low for you."

I’ll go ahead and right click, and Select “Insert 2.5 (two-and-a-half) Axis EDM Feature”. I’ll make sure the feature type is set to Open Profile and select the sketch we just created to define it. Pay attention to the red arrow in the graphics area. Remember, the arrow must face away from the finished part. You have the option to flip the direction of the cut if necessary. Keep in mind that this option may at first appear grayed out, to activate it, you must first highlight the Open Profile from inside this window. Now when I click the option you can see the red arrow update in the graphics window.

For the end condition I’ll choose Up to Stock in both directions... click Insert… and exit the Feature Definition box. Once again the feature tree is updated, and the Open Profile feature is added under the second Part Setup.

At this point I we should be done adding features. I’ll generate an Operation plan by right clicking on the Open Profile feature… Then generate Tool paths by right clicking on the corresponding Operation

And Finally, I’ll run the simulation…

Notice that the cutting wire switches orientation to match our second Part Setup.

To finish up, I’ll remove the leftover chips…And the result is exactly what I was looking for.
