Script Notes: Bill: “Si saben cómo trabaja el papel de lija, ya tienen una idea bastante clara sobre cómo trabaja esta máquina. Se llama torno para grabado con ruedas de cobre. El objeto a la derecha es una máquina que se usa para sostener (una gran variedad de ruedas de cobre) como las que se ven a la izquierda.

Bill: “La máquina gira las ruedas y, a medida que las ruedas giran, un poco de líquido parecido al papel de lija (hecho con polvo fino de piedras molidas) se (mezcla con aceite y) se escurre en el borde de la rueda de cobre. Y a medida que la rueda presiona el vidrio (las pequeñas partículas de abrasivo lo cortan)”.
