Male voice is needed for a documentary
LTK9105357352X
I need an American male voice for a short amateur documentary. Non-Union. Access to ISDN studio.

Voice needs to sound young (about 25-35 years old).

Script is altogether about 3 minutes long.

Narration needs to be conversational, at some points heartfelt and at others a bit more comical.

Budget is $200 plus a narration credit in the finished piece.

I'm attaching the complete script for your reference. Exact time for each paragraph is in parenthesis. Please provide sample.

Thanks

"One could say that it’s just a small and narrow country in the southwerstern coast of the Mediterranean sea, but Israel is so much more... (0:07)

Throughout the years, the Land has been known by many names: Eretz Israel, Zion, the Promised Land and the Holy Land, just to name a few.
However for most Israelies today, that country is simply Haaretz- The Land.
A land that more than 4.7 million jews consider their home. A land filled with contrasts that go from the religious to the secular, from the modern to the traditional, from the urban to the rural, from the community to the individual.
A land that, despite living every single day in danger of extintion, always alert, always struggling, has enough time to create, to make culture, to dance, to sing.
And this is the reason why we decided to make the 8,000 mile trip from San Diego to Tel-Aviv…
So we could meet the creators of our culture, rediscover a generation of folk artists, keepers of our tradition and guardians of our knowledge. (1:10)

And so began our search for a treasure. A treasure so peculiar that, the more its owner gives it away, the richer they become.
A treasure that manifests itself in as many different ways as the people who create it.
We’re talking about art… Painting, sculpture, dance and song. A treasure so lasting that it goes from generation to generation, transforming and adapting itself.
A treasure that, instead of engendering greed and resentment, promotes the humanity and identity of an entire people. (0:30)

Yossi Lev has made his living singing with people. He’s not a particularly gifted singer and he’s never written an original song. However, since the early 70’s he has taken upon himself to keep alive Israel’s most traditional songs. (0:15)

The Bible has been a source of inspiration for thousands of artists who poured its essence in their work.
The pioneer who built the State of Israel used Biblical texts in order to create an identity and advance their zionist ideals.

One of the best examples is a song that only uses four words… Eretz Zavat Chalav U’dvash. The land flowing with Milk and Honey.
A song that has reached far beyond its borders. (0:31)

Every person we interviewed knew the song. Most of them learned it during their childhood years. However, when we asked them about the origin of the song, the year it was written, the name of the composer or even whether the composer was still alive or not, the results were very different. (0:19)

This turned out to be more complicated than we expected. (0:04)

Nevertheless, after we were able to finally sit down with him for an interview, and only 5 minutes into it… (0:09)
