Project Main Details
Neutral accents only, please. Southern accent will not work, as this is for a northeast market. Sound quality is of utmost importance, so please reply only if you are working out of a broadcast quality studio. This is a public service announcement, so the budget for VO really cannot exceed $100. Thank you! SFX window opens; birds chirping and nature sounds
VO:
(Deep breath) … ahhh. Springtime, at last!
Time to roll up these sleeves and get rid of the JUNK!
Top of my list? Those annoying little stashes of old cleaners that seem to accumulate around here.
Let’s see … some old drain cleaner … half a bottle of old rug solution … that ancient can of wood polish …
Sound familiar?
Well, now’s your chance to do something about it! Orange County residents are invited to drop off any of that household waste you can’t just toss in the trash can. Everything from kitchen and bathroom cleaners, to old pesticides and bug sprays, paint thinners, stains, car fluids and batteries, pool chemicals and more.
To register for this free collection of hazardous household waste, call the Orange County Resource Recovery Agency, at 336-3636. Collection day is Saturday, April 21st, on Rt. 32 in Beston. Call 336-3636 for more info., and a complete list of acceptable items, Now, time to go tackle that basement or garage, and don’t forget to check under the sink. See you there!
