Project Main Details
The existing voice over was done with an Australian accent and low quality gear, and we would like it redone with an American accent.
The deliverable is a collection of short WAV files.
The job might suit someone who is software savvy and knows the acronyms + authoritative, energetic & educative. Dec 05, 2006 13:13:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Dec 06, 2006 00:00:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) No (click here to learn more about

This video gives a short demonstration of the Zoom Search Engine, Version 5. It will
show how it is possible to quickly add a search function to your web site.
Audio Point 1a
This is the window you see when you open Zoom for the first time. Zoom supports
indexing offline files from your hard disk and spidering files from a web server. For this
demonstration we are using the spidering option to create a search function for the
Wrensoft.com web site.
Audio Point 1b
We need to enter in the home page of the web site. Zoom will automatically find all
pages linked to from the home page.
Audio Point 2
Next we select the types of files to index. There are also options for indexing PDF
documents, Word documents and other common file formats.
Audio Point 3
Now we need to select which scripting platform is supported by your web hosting
company. Zoom supports PHP, ASP, JavaScript and CGI. For this demonstration we are
using the PHP option.
Audio Point 4
At this step we set the output directory. This is a directory on your local machine where
the index is created before upload to your web site. When we click on Finish the indexing
process will start.
Audio Point 5
The web pages being indexed can be seen in the right hand section of the window. In a
single pass of your web site it is possible to create a search function, check for broken
links and create a site map.
Audio Point 6
Once indexing is complete the index files and search script are uploaded to your web site.
Audio Point 7

Audio Point 8
We will now open a browser window to test the search function we just created.
The user can enter in key words to search for, select various other settings, such as the
category, then click on submit to perform the search.
