Script Details
"Hi, I’m Don Davis. I’m 62 years old, and have been married to my wife Sheila for 32 years. Together we have two adult children and two grand children. I was an engineer with Motorola until I took their early retirement package in 2003. I teach IT classes at a local community college in my free time now.
Life has been good to my wife and me, and we’re really happy that all our hard work early in life is paying off now.. We’ve managed to set aside enough over the years to give our children a good education. We’re looking forward to traveling more, which both of us love. Whenever we can, we spend time with our children and grandchildren.
We’ve lived in the same house for the past 25 years, and have traveled all over the US, as well as Europe and China. My wife and I also love to socialize with our friends, volunteer our time, and take new classes.
I use the internet quite often both at work and home. I research things on Google, check my stocks, and do some comparison shopping. I am concerned about the volatility of the market and the possibility that something might happen that will consume our savings.
I’m a member of MECU, where I have a savings and a checking account. I also have a few Certificates and a Visa card. I use cash to pay for small purchases, and my credit card for everything else. I like the cash back programs and the travel miles. There’s an MECU Service Center nearby, so I make deposits and withdrawals there.
What’s important to me in a financial institution? That they operate with integrity and are a stable company. I like when the employees are responsive and concerned."
