Project Main Details
Script Length: 150 words
We are looking for male voice to read the part of a tough Army pilot who has crashed his helicopter.
This story is very edgy and it uses a lot of heavy metal music in the sound track. We are looking for a very active read that emphasizes how tough the soldiers who saved the pilot really were.
This video is one of 15 profiles of men who have received the Medal of Honor for bravery beyond the call of duty. The video is part of a museum in Charleston, South Carolina about the Medal of Honor. * Feb 14, 2007 15:09:37 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Feb 15, 2007 00:00:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) No (click here to learn more about

Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon Script
Character: Mike Durant, the pilot saved by Shughart and Gordon
Mike Durant: Going In! Going Down! (as if over a helicopter radio)
We slammed hard into a street in Mogadishu…a street straight out of hell!
I had a broken leg…crushed vertebrae. I saw the mob moving in, ready for the kill. But I couldn’t get out of the wreck!
That’s when they showed up, a couple of Delta Force guys…calm and cool, like “Batman and Robin.”
They picked me up, then they set up a perimeter defense! I couldn’t believe it. Just two commandos against hundreds!
They fought hard and fast…Fought until they fell. Two Delta Force sharpshooters, still defending that perimeter…still defending me.
Later, after my release, on the plane back to an Army hospital in Germany, I would learn their names “Sergeants Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon.” They saw us go down. They never hesitated. They went in alone…without them, I wouldn’t be here today.
