Script Details
"Hi I’m Maggie Miller. I’m 36 years old and married with 4 children: Ryan, Billy, Lisa, and Tommy. I work for Motorola as an Administrative Assistant, and have my Associate’s degree in Business.
The most important thing in my life is my husband and my family. I love spending my free time with my kids, when I’m not doing household chores and errands.
We live in the first home we ever bought, where we were able to put 5% down on the price. I own my mini-van, while we’ve still got a year left on my husband’s auto loan. I love to use the internet for banking and shopping on e-bay.
I wouldn’t want to change a thing, but if I could, I’d like to be more financially secure. My biggest financial concern is making ends meet in a household of six. We get by, but it’s hard to see how we’re going to be able to pay for college and have a steady income for retirement. I know we need to put away money for the kid’s college, but we haven’t been able to do much.
I’m a member of MECU, where I have my savings, checking, Visa and auto loans. I participate in the MOTShare plan. I like to use a credit card to pay for things so I can get cash back and other rewards and I try to pay the balance off every month.
What’s important to me about a financial institution? Good rates, low fees, objective advice, and lots of integrity. I also want it to be convenient and accessible with night and weekend hours.
