Although our popular Tuff-n-Lite with Dyneema ® has excellent properties, Tuff-n-Lite can be formed with an Aramid fiber instead when high-heat applications -- between 220 and 900 degrees Fahrenheit -- are required.

If maximum abrasion resistance is not needed -- and low cost is imperative -- we can formulate Tuff-n-Lite with more common core products such as fiberglass or stainless steel. A composite made this way will retain most of Tuff-n-Lite’s high-performance fiber attributes and cost considerably less.
