Project Synopsis:
You will be recording audio that will be used in a language learning software program. The script will contain approximately 3,000 lines to be read. The average line will contain about 3 words. Many of the lines will have just a single word and the longest lines will have about 10 to 12 words.
We need an adult male and an adult female.
Mandarin Chinese
The speakers must speak with the native dialect. In other words, they must not have an accent. All recordings must be made in a soundproof studio with quality recording equipment.
File Formats:
The files must be delivered in non-compressed wav format and those files must also be cut up and batched into individual mp3 files according to a naming and numbering convention that we specify. The numbering will correspond to the line number of each line in the script.

Here is an example of what a few lines of the script will look like. This example is in English but the foreign language scripts will be in their respective languages.
Timeline:
We will deliver the entire script by July 15, 2007 and need the recordings to be complete, queued and batched per the prescribed format by July 31, 2007.
