Project Main Details
Project needs a professional voice to use while filmmakers seek finishing funds and festival promotion. Fee is $200 for using voice for only these purposes. Total narration is 12-15 minutes. If narrator is to be used in final edit, we will re-record and re-negotiate fee.
We need a Narrator, male 35-55, conversational tone, not fast, a not ‘big’ but expressive interpretation.

Script Details
A remote and exotic country.
An inconsequential conflict.
But it is to grow into something that will ensnare the most powerful nation on earth.
This is a new era. It’s a time of hope. It’s a time of fear. It’s a time of innocence, confidence, good intentions.
Two super powers are playing out their deadly chess game.
Many believe that if this small country falls to the Communists, the rest of Southeast Asia will follow.
Vietnam beckons, and, not knowing what lays ahead, a handful of reporters find their way here.
This is the place to be.
Peter Arnett. 28. The New Zealand bantam weight tough. The skirt chaser. The first one in. The last one out. Fearless. The great combat reporter. Peter. The survivor.
Malcolm Browne. 30. The scientist. The model airplane builder. Grandson of a multimillionaire. Eccentric. Quite. A loner. A Military man and a Quaker. The analytical one.
Neal Sheehan, 26. The Catholic Irish farm boy. Hard working. I don’t want to milk cows for the rest of my life. Harvard on a scholarship. Modest. Romantic. Courageous. He dreams of writing great literature. Neil. The storyteller
