Yes
We found a small table, cleaving to the wall. The place was half crowded, the perfect proportion exactly.

“You came,” he said. “I didn’t think you would.”

“Why?” I asked coldly. “Because of your demons . . .”

“Yes,” he answered, his eyes growing wide. “They’ve never caused me to hurt people before. And you know what happened last night.”

“Yes,” I answered. “I know. You attacked your roommate. He didn’t press charges did he?”

“Not yet,” he said. “He’s in the hospital. I nearly killed him.”

“You mean them,” I pressed.

“Yes,” he said. “They’re getting out of hand. I don’t know when they’re going to come. You’re not safe with me. They might make me hate you too.”

“Hate me?” I asked. “And then what? Kill me?”

“Yes,” he said.

I laughed. “I doubt that,” I smiled. “I’m likely to kill you before they kill me. Remember I’m the one with the prescription.”

He laughed then. “You’d actually kill me with medication?” he asked.

“If it’s necessary,” I said. “But I don’t think it’s that bad. And besides, I’d send them back to hell if they ever surfaced in my presence.”

Voice123 Team Note: We recognize that this project may be below Voice123 pricing recommendations. We have become more flexible with budgets as it was brought to our attention that we could be violating United States federal anti-trust laws by limiting the participation of voice seekers in our marketplace when they don’t met our budget recommendations. It seems that, legally speaking, it is up to the providers (the talents and voice producers) and not the marketplace (Voice123) to determine to exclude the voice seekers they don’t want to work with.

Right after the release of the new Voice123, we will be working on several improvements that will help talents and voice producers filter the types of projects they want and better match projects with talent and voice producers depending on the budget and experience of the talent. On the meantime we are trying to be flexible to keep everybody happy.^
