Marlon Dunn contracting started in business in 1967 renting out backhoes with operators. One of our first jobs was digging footers along side another contractor at the Tampa International Airport. From There Dunn contracting began the early development in today’s prominent Harbour Island.

In those early years the company consisted of Marlon, Monteen and some equipment operators. When, Dan Secor and Brian Secor came into the picture we expanded into complete site work. And later we began specializing into underground utilities such as storm, water, sanitary sewer. lift stations, Etc.

Today Dunn Contracting has about 40 employees and some of them have been with the company for nearly 20 years. Our major work today consist of commercial development for some big company’s such as Walmart, Lowes, Sams Clubs also Wesley Chapel Parks.

We have weathered a lot of storms in the past years and we overcame these difficulties by always forging ahead and never looking back

Dunco Materials started in 1983 with a pile of mulch and a sign along side of it with a phone number on it. Dunco sold landscaping materials and natural stone with a U-cart Concrete Plant.
Diane Copeland was Manager and Diane trained her son, Tony Elliott, to be the loyal and dependable operations manager that he is today. Tony actually began working at Dunco when he was in high school and now has over 20 plus years of service..

Over the years Dunco has expanded and today we have a redi-mix cement plant with and we deliver it in Bright Yellow mixer trucks.

Charlie Wilson has been Tony’s assistant manager for the past 14 years. Together they make a dynamic Team and Dunco is very proud to have this energetic duo.

Luis assists with the dispatch and takes the orders for concrete. In the office Shawn Gifford, Rebecca Secor, Vera Bounds and Sherri Agosti all assist in the walk-in business and landscape orders.

Dunco’s growth has achieved insurmountable recognition over the past decades. TODAY, We are even recognized by the “Big Guys”.

Dunco is also extremely fortunate to have a group of superb individuals and you are truly part of our family. From our, drivers, yardman and management team we know you actually care about Dunco’s reputation, and this dedication is the reason for our success.

As an employee of Marlon Dunn or Dunco Companies, your are not a number but you are number one. Both from a company standpoint and personal one as well. With your continued commitment we will maintain the success and future accomplishments for many years to come.
