that students like Pepe Gonzales would hitchhike all the way from Texas each year…
just to attend.
A place,
where thousands of Hispanic students would be mentored over the years,
by people like the beloved, Dr. Julian Samora,
Professor of sociology.
Where TODAY,
Notre Dame has become the Catholic university of choice for Hispanic students,
in large part,
Because the Hispanic Alumni, have made it so.
Welcome home,
and Gracias por todo su trabajo duro y
dé la bienvenida al hogar a los alumnos hispánicos
de la Universidad de Notre Dame.
