Unfortunately, Message-On-Hold narration is not a great way to make a living. However, the $50-75 a job we can pay might be just what you need to fill up your gas tank or put toward that iPod you've been wanting. Many voice-over artists have found these spots to be a good way to build a demo reel and resume. Whether for money or experience, you can record the spots at home and send them to us via mp3 while you're still in your PJs.
All spots are recorded in English. Our clients are mostly in the northeast United States, so southern and Canadian accents can be a problem. In the past, the majority of our narrators have been from Colorado and the midwest.
If interested, please e-mail a demo of any commercial you've done, whether authentic or mock-up. You will only need to provide us with voice tracks, so don't be too concerned about the music or script. However, the quality of the recordings you can provide is critical, so please send a demo from your own studio.
