Project Main Details
PLEASE NOTE: please bid on this only if you're able to turn this around by 12:00 pm (CST), Wednesday, September 13, 2006.
The theme of the session is an intentional transfering of ministry responsibilities and commitment from one generation (those 60 years old+) to a younger generation of ministers (those under 40 years old) - hence the "pass the mantle" references.
Script should be voiced with a thoughtful but confident sound. The feel we want the voice to portray is one of certainty, not whimsical or trying to sell something.

The transference of truth.
The transference of commitment to Biblical righteousness.
The transference of faith.
From its inception in 1945, the United Pentecostal Church International has sought to bring the whole gospel to the whole world, by the whole church.
Such a task has and continues to require the participation of every believer –young, old, men, women, children and teenagers.
Yet, achieving great results don’t just happen. Big things require little steps, a fact keenly understood by our leaders and elders of the past.
Over the last six decades men and women, some now departed, some now advanced in years, have laid a ministry foundation for years to come, a foundation unique from those around them, a foundation inspired by God, and blessed from the start by the Spirit’s anointing.
The United Pentecostal Church’s revival underpinning has remained at the forefront despite a changing world.
The changes since 1945 have been vast:
The days of World War II are now the days of the War on Terror.
Transportation has gone from cars to jet airplanes to Space Shuttles.
The room-sized computers of yesterday now hang on belts, making communication and information gathering easier than ever.
Yet, throughout the years of change, individuals have consistently stepped up to meet the challenge, each finding their place in an organization designed to effect spiritual transformation.
Brush arbor meetings have become arena crusades.
A handful of churches now number multiple thousands.
An organization begun in middle America, now ministers in 180 countries.
Serving as a catalyst that has sparked the spiritual re-birth of millions, the United Pentecostal Church sees tens of thousands baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit each year.
However, central to such ministry success, is the intentional transference, or passing on of commitment, from one generation to the next.
This morning, we all have a choice to make. Will we continue what has been given to each of us? Are names such as Goss, Morgan, Fauss (pronounced FAW-S), Chambers, and Urshan (pronounced ER-SHIN) historical leaders or ministry partners?
Welcome to a service designed to make a difference and intentionally bridge generations for the cause of moving the Kingdom of God forward.
Without question, burden and conviction MUST be transferred.

The time has come to pass the mantle.
From the beginning, it’s been about transferring.

The transference of commitment to Biblical righteousness.
