LTK6308675750X
I need a clear, male voice, 30-ish for a 1,500 word script (approx 10 min) for a safety training video. Budget $300-500 USD.
Slightly authoritative but should also have a local flavor, like the words of a trusted friend. Attached are portions of a script in progress.
Will finalize script 9/8 and choose talent by 9/15. Would like final product by 9/21 as AIFF/WAV on cd or via ftp. I would appreciate your quotes and auditions.

Safety & Training Video Script

……..

Because of the nature of mining and mill processing, this facility contains heavy machinery and some work areas can be hazardous if proper safety procedures are not followed.

The company is committed to producing metals for the worlds use in a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible manner. Reaching this goal involves thinking about safety, caring about safety and following safe work practices that involve:

• General Safety Systems
• Change Management
• Contractor Management
• Isolation
• Electrical Safety
• Vehicles & Driving

The aim of this video is to give you a brief overview of the rules and equipment that need to be adhered to, in order to ensure your visit is safe and incident free.
……

The MVAW is our main method of transportation to and from the island. This vessel leaves the bay at 5am seven days per week.

The vessel is well equipped for safety and the crew is trained in emergency procedures. However, we recommend that passengers familiarize themselves with the location of lifejackets and other emergency equipment.

In the event of an emergency, you will be given instructions over the public address system by a uniformed crew member; you should remain calm and follow the instructions of the crew.

All visitors must check in with the supervisor of each area that is visited. In addition each person visiting the underground operation is required to “Brass In” on the Mine Brass Board. These measures will ensure that each person can be accounted for in the unlikely event of an emergency.

If your escort is incapable, you may be required to contact emergency personnel in the event of an emergency situation.

All buildings or vehicles, in which you are being escorted, contain either telephone or two-way radio equipment.

To call for assistance on a two-way radio, ensure the radio is set to channel six or channel three when underground, call the Medical Office and clearly state: “emergency, emergency, emergency”. If underground you can also use the mine phone to summon emergency assistance.

Give your name and position, who you are with and your location. Report exactly what has occurred, identify the nature of any injuries and state what help is required. For example, do you require fire, rescue or medical services?

Responding personnel will repeat the message back to you.

Strict rules also apply to bringing chemicals of any type to the mine. Prior to delivery a Material Safety Data Sheet or MSDS detailing the composition of all powder, liquid or gas products must be forwarded in advance to the mine’s Safety Team for prior clearance.

In summary let’s recap briefly on the main points you should follow:
• Always wear a helmet, steel capped boots, Vest and safety glasses fitted with side shields times while outdoors. Remembering that covered footwear must be worn at all times when on site.
• In an emergency dial 116 on an internal telephone. Use a two-way radio on channel six or three underground to call for assistance
• Do not smoke inside buildings or vehicles.
• Wear s seatbelt when traveling in any vehicle
• Know your location at all times
• Follow evacuation procedures, if required. And importantly, remain with your mine representative at all times whilst on site unless authorized to move around the site by yourself.

We hope you enjoy your visit to mine. And on your departure, we wish you a safe journey to your next destination.
