In 1978 God sent Leo to Latin America to begin a work that continues today. A labor of love that started in the market in San Salvador. A ministry that now has a vision of reaching 2 million souls in Central America. The vision of Good News In Action.
where they are and where they’ve been. In the last 30 years the people of El Salvador have endured tremendous pain and hardship. They’ve been afflicted by a wide range of detrimental circumstances from earthquakes and hurricanes to Civil war, wide spread violence and a poor economy.
Many problems are a direct result of the 11-year civil war that left the country in shambles. Over 75,000 people died in the war. Many people fled the country and have never come back.
Today the country is plagued by every type of evil imaginable. Everyday there are over 12 murders and 22 divorces. The Family has been virtual torn apart. The current generation of youth is being raised by someone other than their parents. Gangs have taken over the cities.
