There are many reasons why kidney patients decide to get a transplant. Some patients get tired of living their lives on dialysis. They want to have more energy to do the things they enjoy like spending time with their family, doing hobbies, traveling, or working. Other patients decide because they know that getting a transplant gives them the best chance to live as long a life as possible.
