The quoting and application process for *****Plus is managed through the secured abc.com site. The site lets you track the status of all your quotes and applications and view application documents, securely and conveniently.
To create a ****** Plus quote using abc.com, you’ll first need to register using the registration link on the homepage. Click the link, provide the requested information including your ABC Agent Number.
This number can be found on both your welcome letter and commission statement, or you can request it from your local sales rep.

VO: Once you’ve registered and logged in, click on “ABC Health and Life Insurance for Individuals and Families.”

VO: Select “Request or Change an Insta-Quote. ” You will be asked for your distribution channel. Choose the appropriate answer and click continue.

VO: From this page, you can create a new quote, or review or modify existing quotes. Enter your client’s information and click “next.”

Please remember that if your client hasn’t had coverage within the last 63 days, that the soonest effective date they can select is 30 days from application.

VO: Choose the options you want to include in the quote from the selection at the top of the screen. The quote will recalculate based on the options you choose.
When you save the quote, a 10-digit reference number will appear. If your client is applying over the phone, make sure they have this reference number.
When your client calls in, the Application team will generate the application from this quote, enabling you to track the application’s progress through your secured queue on humana.com.
Clients can also apply online using the unique web address that appears on the saved quote. If you email the quote to the client, they can simply click on a link in the email to apply.
If a client applies online, the link on their quote output will bring them directly to the application, which will contain all of the quote information you entered, along with your agent contact information.
This helps clients contact you with any questions, and also ensures that you get credit for that application.
The screen also displays a technical assistance phone number in case your client has problems. If a client calls the number, our call center can assist them in completing their online application.
The call center can also finish the application over the phone, if your client wants to do so. Either way, you will still get credit.

VO: In response to Agent requests, we have dramatically simplified the application process, reducing the number of questions by 65%.
If your clients answer “yes” to certain questions, they will be asked additional “drill down” questions. The healthier the applicant, the less drill down questions.
Overall, the application process is now faster an easier than ever before.

VO: When your client begins their application, you will be notified via email.
You will also be notified when the application is transferred to Underwriting; and if we need to obtain additional information; if we are unable to reach and/or speak with the applicant; and for all final decisions, including Standard Offers, Modified Offers and Declines; as well as when the policy is issued.

VO: To help your clients during the application process both online or by phone, we recommend that you provide them with the Application Prep Checklist, which you’ll find in your sales kit.
This will help them be ready for the application questions, and makes the process easier for clients. The checklist also contains the Application Team’s phone number and hours, if clients wish to apply by phone.
