On September 9, 2009 Taiwanese opposition leader Li Ao was arrested and charged with conspiring against the Taiwanese Government. But he was not taken to a Taiwanese prison. He was handed over to the PRC and taken to a secret location in mainland China. His execution is to be carried out today as a warning to others who would resist the forced unification…
When word that the U.S. Fleet had shot down a Russian jet reached the Taiwanese legislators Li Ao called on Taiwan to declare independence from China. He was beaten down by pro-Communist members on the assembly floor.
Over one hundred and fight opposition leaders and supporters have been taken out of Taiwan since the takeover. Twenty nine are to be executed along with Li Ao… who is my husband.
