Script Details
In 1997 13 year old Cooper Jones was an avid bicyclist. While riding on a sanctioned bike course in Spokane Cooper was hit from behind by a vehicle. Cooper went under the vehicle and became trapped. He survived for only a few days. Since Cooper’s death, Cooper’s parents have been extremely active with the State Government. As a result of their efforts state legislators created the Cooper Jones act which lead to the formation of the Cooper Jones Committee.
