Female voice needed for a presentation CD
LTK63011058165X
Here's what we are looking for... I need a professional female voice, to sound natural, and delivery just this one paragraph. This is for a presentation CD. The motivation for the read is "She is a working actress in Texas with some advice about the auditioning process."

The fee for this is $75.00. There may be more to come with a regular gig.

Good Luck.

"The first thing you’ll see when you get into the casting office is a bunch of other people waiting around to audition. You may all be going for the same role, or they may be doing several different auditions that day. In one of my first callbacks, I walked into the room and everyone was drop dead gorgeous. Big hair, perfect bodies, revealing clothes. I thought I was in the wrong office! It completely put me off my game because I felt like I didn’t fit in at all. As I’ve gotten more experience in the industry, I’ve realized that they call everyone in for a reason. I was chosen because I had a look that they thought might work better than the other girls. So don’t get intimidated by the other people there, but don’t start socializing either, even if you know the people there. Be polite, but stay focused. You’re there to get a job, not chat with your friends. Go to the receptionist and sign in – find out if there have been any changes in the script, and if there have, get a new copy to look over. About scripts: different auditions call for different techniques. If they request that you memorize the script beforehand, then definitely memorize it. Otherwise, just make sure you’re sufficiently familiar with your lines that you don’t fumble over the words or get confused midway through. A good tip is to memorize the first and last lines of the script so that you can deliver them well and look the casting director or your reading partner in the eye. A good first and last impression is always a great way to nail a reading."
