The aim of this course is to introduce the learner to the principles of HACCP, as a food safety management tool, and to develop an awareness of the practical application of HACCP Principles on a day to day basis in a food business to ensure food safety.
At the end of the course the learner will be able to:
•Understand the importance and need for Food Safety Management within a food business.
•Be aware of the legal requirements for a HACCP based approach
•Be aware of the key components of a Food Safety Management System
