But just how exactly did this company get everyone so excited about their health? Let's rewind.
Meet Pete. It was a regular work day like any other: he had donuts for breakfast; worked through lunch; and while he was clearly at work, he wasn’t exactly “present.”
The HR department watched helplessly - another corporate wellness initiative down the drain.
That’s when they had an idea: ditch the pamphlets and motivational posters, do away with the common sense lectures and <Whiteboard: Carrots Good. Twinkies Bad. And kick off a new program to get employees psyched about getting healthy using KEAS.
KEAS is a fun social game that helps employees take charge of their health while working at their own pace. Players earn points and badges for completing weekly tasks to meet their personal goals--simple things like eating less, moving more, and managing stress....
