Project Main Details

Kinetic Typography
Kinetic Typography is a video presentation technique that animates the dialogue to create a clever, powerful presentation. This is a new service we are offering clients and need to show them the technique in order to sell it to them.

There are many examples of the technique on the Web that use famous scenes from movies. You can also see variations of the technique in television commercials, particularly the Denis Leary truck commercials.

We've patterned the presentation after the famous monologue delivered by Al Pacino in the movie 'The Devil's Advocate.' Here is a example of the voice, cadence, and delivery we are looking for:

******************* 1.
Let me give you a little insight into business.
Business is the implementation of marketing.
Simple. Right? So what’s marketing?
Marketing - is THE MESSAGE and how you DELIVER it!
Ya I know you thought it was sales.
But you’d be wrong!
Sales, are the results,
Marketing, is how you get there.
I know, I know,
You’re disappointed, frustrated, jaded!
HELL BROTHER! Welcome to the club!
You’ve heard the hype and the promises…
Optimize - and you’ll be found!
Blog - and you’ll be a famous!
Tweet - and you’ll be popular.
It’s Obfuscation!
It’s a Distortion!
It HIDES the Truth!
Can it work? Sure.
Will it work for you? Maybe.
But does it really deliver your message?
Is it worth the time, effort, and money?
Or is there something else?
Something better…
******************* 2.
Let’s talk about WORDS…
People DON’T know how to use them.
WORDS are powerful tools!
Meaningful, Memorable little things;
And if delivered properly
They can have profound influence.
And INFLUENCE my friend is what you want.
Influence is how you sell,
How you make money…
All that ROI stuff people go on about.
WORDS are something special.
They’re IDEAS!
They’re the foundation of PERSUASION!
And that’s how you achieve your goals,
You start with WORDS!
******************* 3.
What’s so hard?
Any can do this stuff.
It’s Easy, Right? WRONG!
Words need to be heard in order to persuade.
You think we’d remember FDR’s “A date that will live in infamy” speech if he tweeted it.
A little bit of theater that coalesced a nation…
That’s right, effective communication,
Even business communication, check that,
Especially business communication, is all about the delivery.
Complete with performer, audience, and reaction.
How effective would Roosevelt’s speech have been if he sounded like Elmer Fudd?
There’s too much at stake!
Too much on the line to mess around with meaningless platitudes and
Self-congratulatory hyperbole
Presented like some tasteless, bland airline dinner,
By amateurs.
Who Look and Sound like Goofy!
Not you right. You’re cool.
Are you sure, really sure?
You can have the words my friend, but if you don’t have the SOUND you ain’t got nothing!
