Project Main Details
The kind of delivery they want: conversational.
Age: Sound like you are about 14-17.
(Direction: Here’s a spot that takes “Keep It Clean” and humorously mangles it – from a teenage boy’s perspective. He thinks he’s doing the right thing by getting the word out on “keeping it clean” but instead his pleas are misinterpreted and he finds himself getting looks of concern and confusion. It’s a fun spot that builds with intensity and passion midway through the spot, only to end with him asking us – the listener – to do our part to keep it clean.)
Timing is :50 for this script in order to allow for a :10 tag by somebody else.
Do not slate your recording at all. Only label the mp3 with your first name; I will keep track of them in my own separate folders, so I will know exactly which ones are which.
If you do multiple takes, they must be in separate mp3s. Send in the earlier, the better.
If you are picked, Jeffrey Hedquist and the client will direct you via ISDN connection (or phone patch and you will email the mp3s to us) and we will pay $175 via whatever you prefer: PayPal or credit card or check.

KID: I don't get it. I told my parents at dinner to, y'know, keep it clean and they give me this twisted look of confusion. I ask my older sister and her boyfriend to keep it clean and she flips out like older sisters do. I tell my teacher to keep it clean, and what do I get? -- a trip to the principal's office. I tell the principal to keep it clean and he brings in social services. And on and on it goes, all because I'm asking everyone I know to help keep our air in Washoe County a little cleaner. Sheesh, It's as simple as green-yellow-red. Green, you can burn. Yellow, it's gettin' a little dicey. And red, burning is strictly verboten. Green, yellow, red. Like the traffic lights. Is that so hard? Is that so wrong? I don't think so. SO do us all a big favor and keep it clean visit WashoeCounty.com to learn about the green-yellow-burn code. And then, well, let's all just relax and breathe a little easier.
