"A big issue around my home, Raja Ampat, is that marine life suffers and is being harmed by overfishing, dynamite fishing and pollution. We are here to change the future of Raja Ampat."

"I am Warda Amir, one of the teachers on Kalabia."

"Teaching kids through games and songs makes learning fun! One of their favorite games is when the kids put on red gloves, pretending to be a coral polyp. Together they become a coral colony. We hand them peanuts just like coral polyps absorbing nutrients in the ocean. The kids love this game!"

"In Raja Ampat, we grow up in the water, Playing and jumping and swimming. But most Indonesians dont ever get a chance to really explore the reef. We take the kids on snorkel trips with mask and they really get to see what an unhealthy (pause) and healthy reef look like."

"Here in Raja Ampat, singing and dancing are very important to our culture. We sing about everything. Everyone participates and we have lots of fun.(pause) On the Kalabia, we teach the children songs about protecting the reef and to have pride and love for the habitats in our backyard."
