Joint Commission Project
LTK91021681781X
We are working with a large publishing company to provide on-line textbooks for nursing students. There are 30 different modules that have from 10 to 30 pages of text each (pages may sometimes contain one paragraph). Each read will require a 36 hour turnaround time and the budget for each one is $150.

The voice that is selected will be contracted for all 30 modules, so the total project is worth $4,500. This project will run throught the winter and Spring. There will be at least a week's notice before the script will arrive and then a 36 hour turnaround will be needed. Sample below.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hand Hygiene using Alcohol-based Hand Rubs

Proper hand hygiene, whether washing with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand rubs, is an important way to prevent health care-associated infections. The ideal method for hand hygiene, according to the CDC, is the use of a hand rub that contains about 60% to 95% alcohol.

Studies show that alcohol quickly decreases the number of germs on the hands of health care workers. It kills many fungi that cause health care-associated infections as well as Mycobacterium(MYCO-BACK-TIER-E-UM) tuberculosis that cause tuberculosis and many viruses like human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Even though alcohol is capable of killing a number of germs, it has not been proven to prevent the regrowth of bacteria on the hands. Therefore, health care workers must reapply the alcohol rub to their hands when providing care and services to different patients.

Hand Hygiene using alcohol-based hand rubs

In addition to killing a number of germs, alcohol-based hand rubs have many other advantages over washing with soap and water. For example, alcohol-based hand rubs require less time to use, they can be placed where ever you need them, are available in gels or foams with emollients and other skin-conditioning agents to prevent drying or irritation, and can be carried in your pocket or clipped to your uniform.

Hand Hygiene using Alcohol-Based Hand Rub

Correct technique using an alcohol-based hand rub requires that a good amount of substance be applied to all surfaces of the hands and fingers for at least 10 to 15 seconds. The following illustration, developed by the World Health Organization, shows how to perform good hand hygiene using an alcohol-based hand rub.
