We are making how-to Italian cooking recipes.

This job was posted earlier in the summer but was postponed due to economy. It is back now with one substantial change - our client is asking for a slight, realistic Italian accent.

The emotion is happy, love-to-cook, knowledgeable home chef.

Script Details

Sample script provided for auditions:

Linguine with Clams is a delicious, classic preparation from the coast of Southern Italy.

Linguine means “little tongues.” It’s made from long, flat strands of Barilla Pasta and is a close relative of Fettuccine, but thinner in shape. It is a popular dish in the south of Italy.

Start by soaking about 50 clams in salted water for one hour. Scrub the clams well and rinse them with fresh water.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the Barilla linguine according to the package directions.

Meanwhile, chop 2 cloves of garlic.

Heat about 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet. Add the chopped garlic, along with half a teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Sauté the garlic until it’s fragrant and golden.

Next, add the clams, along with 1 cup of white wine. Cover the skillet and cook over medium heat until the clams are opened. Throw away any clams that don’t open.
