In 1831, a group of New York Quakers purchased 200 acres and founded Haverford College. In 1834, William Carville, a renowned English gardener, was hired to convert this farmland into a functioning and attractive campus. Today, the Campus Arboretum Association is committed to continue the tradition of campus beautification and preservation.

365 days a year you are welcome to take a self-guided tour highlighting 36 trees. The tour begins with a spectacular Cedar of Lebanon and ends with an American elm descendant to the original tree, under which, William Penn and the Delaware Indians signed a treaty in 1682.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
