Project Main Details

International environmental TV show VO
This is a television show that follows a mobile film competition in France with 26 teams from all over the world. It's going to be airing on MTV internationally as part of their environmental campaign - it's basically a big PSA.

We need small amounts of narration / VO to convey key parts of the story. The VO needs to be:
- Female fluent in english (common american)
- Slight accent (European or Latin)
- Native only, no character actors as this will be seen around the world and people will know if the accent is fake.
- relaxed, creative, young, hip and slightly irreverent
- not "announcer" style, we want people to feel like the VO could be one of the people featured in the show.

Final VO script and video segments that require narration will be provided. We have a pretty fast turn around time on this and need it right away.

VO draft for intro segment (less than 60 seconds, see attached video):

It's the South of France.

It's an international festival.

And it's a chance for gold

It's the annual Cannes Lions advertising festival,

Where thousands of advertising creatives from around the world

converge to celebrate the year's best work.

But for a select few young creatives,

it's a chance to be recognized on a global stage

Meet 52 young creatives,

from 26 countries,

challenged to create a 60-second viral video

in 48 hours,

using only a mobile phone.

There's danger.

There's drama.

And there's the hope of taking home a gold lion.

Will they finish?

Will they sleep?

Will they crack under the pressure?

Or will they get naked in the streets?

It's all coming up on the Cannes Short Film Shootout
