Script Details

Yes
Script added:

How a watch works.

Like any machine, your watch needs energy to operate.

Mechanical watches store the energy they need in the mainspring. This energy can come from winding the watch.

Imagine putting gas in your tank... or it can come from simply wearing the watch, if it is an automatic.

Once fully wound most mainsprings will keep things going for a little more than 40 hours. However, the first 24 hours of power provide the best timekeeping performance.

For this reason it's important to remind clients to wind manual watches full each morning, and automatic watches after more than a day of rest.

Once wound, the power in the mainspring needs to go somewhere... thru a set of gears called the "train".
