Script Details

***custom demo required***
Mike Mattly, Justin and Mike Carney begin the trip with a calling session after spotting a few Javelina (hav-el-ina) in the brush. Because the underbrush is so thick and snaggy, you have to be ready to shoot accurately -- and fast at close range.

At 5’9” and 5’10’ respectively, the Mike’s have a definite advantage over the towering Tuck in close quarter shooting….

Guide Jarred Peeples decides the safest place in this Javelina shootout is on the deck! Anyone left standing is a candidate for a serious leg chewing!

And in the mayhem, Mike Mattly is able to get off a pinpoint arrow at close range for his first javelina.

At another part of the ranch, Terry Rohm (Rahm, that’s “ah” like in the cheer, Hurrah!), Curt Wells and Danny Farris set up a calling sequence with a coyote decoy, backed up with hog and javelina in distress calls to make it sound like the coyote is trying to make a kill on a young animal. This often draws great shot opportunities at confused animals approaching the decoy.
