The 'Inspiring Future' project is a short corporate video documentary for a client developing strategies for innovation in the future.
We have a 5-8 minute voice-over script that describes detailed future scenarios that mention some scientific terms, and conditions for health care, economics and everyday lifestyle changes.
We need a voice that sounds wise and knowledgeable, but also inspiring. It needs to be delivered like a speech, not like it is being read.
The scriptwriting team makes the following suggestions:
• Your goal is to inspire the audience
• You need to believe in and understand what you are saying
• You need to picture yourself as an expert on the future and imagine you are giving an inspiring lecture
• You need to sound sincere and committed to the ideas
• You need an an air of excitement in your voice with pace changes to convey that excitement
• This is not a training video – it is not about delivering information but inspiring ideas and pictures of what might be
• Obviously you need a clear and articulate voice.

Here in 2020, the state of health and healthcare remains a serious, if seemingly contradictory, national concern. The obesity crisis has already resulted in the early death of a significant cross section of the American population. The ever widening physical gap between the country’s real and imagined bodies has reached an emotional boiling point, and is calling into question long held standards of beauty.
At the same time, medical breakthroughs are occurring at an ever-increasing rate, putting another cross section of the population on course to living for a hundred years or more. This health divide is a priority in today’s political and medical spheres, and the correlation between income and access is a glaringly obvious piece of this troubling puzzle. For one slice of America, 70 is the new 50, while for another, 40 is the new 60.
Both sides of this dichotomy are driving the demand for spare body parts. Most of these parts, created through a combination of advanced biomechanics and regenerative medicines, not only speed recovery, but also enhance physical abilities.
