How to videos for Oysters 
This is a series of how to videos for how to eat oysters properly. The client is looking to possibly use pirates or ship captains so give us your best shot. Also, the client may want to be on the phone while you record so please keep that in mind when you submit. It may be as simple as putting your cell phone in the room while you record.

How to shuck an oyster.
(picks up oyster)
This particular one is a diver-picked Blue Point oyster.
(holding oyster up)
You’ll need a shucking knife. If you don’t have a shucking knife, you’ll need a knife with a flat tip. Using any other knife is dangerous and not advised.
(holds out knife, 00:25 - 00:37)
You can start from the front, here, or the back. Because of the thickness of this oyster, we’ll start from the back.
(points at “knuckle” of oyster)
Put your hand down firm. Place the knife in the knuckle, slowly twist, and gently pop the back open.
(places hand down, starts cutting into oyster)
Next, take the knife and slide across the top of the shell, being cautious of your grip. You want to cut the membrane clean off.
Here’s a better look at the membrane.

If you shuck the oyster and it’s dry, it’s no good. It means the oyster is dead. (01:20)
Remove the second membrane and your Blue Point oyster is ready to eat.
