The following video will show you how to install your new Sliding Tour Pack
STEP 1: Remove stock seat, tour pack, saddlebags, saddlebag brackets, frame covers, & license plate - Be sure to save your stock hardware.
STEP 2: Drill holes in the underside of your stock tour pack - usually necessary on older models
Place your stock tour pack upside down, then position your Sliding Tour Pack bracket upside down aligning the tips with the lower bar mount. Then mark and drill 4 quarter inch holes in the bottom of the tour pack.
STEP 3: Install TWO mounting studs on only ONE side of your bike
Install two, two and a quarter inch stud bolts using one five sixteenths washer and one five sixteenths nut on each stud on only ONE side of the bike.
Turn stud bolt until one eighth of an inch of the stud bolt is revealed on the other side of the bracket.
STEP 4: Attach the Sliding Tour Pack unit to your bike
Place a five sixteenths washer and a five sixteenths nut on each of the stud screws opposite the Allen wrench side of the stud bolt then position them in the Sliding Tour Pack unit.
Using the lock pins, place the tray of the Sliding Tour Pack unit in a locked position.
Place the Sliding Tour Pack over the stud screws you previously installed on the bike.
Then lower the other side of the Sliding Tour Pack until the second set of stud bolts are in line with the bracket.
Again, tighten stud bolts until one eighth of an inch is revealed on the inside of the unit.
Use one five sixteenths by three quarter inch allen head bolt in front of unit on both sides (just above shocks), along with one five sixteenths washer, and one five sixteenths lock washer - Do not fully tighten at this time.
